Three ways to set work height

Height-adjustable laboratory workbenches

Every STK LABS laboratory workbench has height adjustment. The important choice is how that adjustment happens: at the leg caps during setup, by hand crank when a bench needs to move more often, or by electric lift for frequent changes.

Category planning

Match the adjustment method to how often the work height actually needs to change.

01

Leg-cap adjustment

A 6" setup range supports deliberate height changes when a workstation is installed or reassigned.

02

Manual lift

A 12" hand-crank range makes repeat adjustments easier without an electric lift system.

03

Electric lift

A 12" electric range supports push-button changes for shared stations and changing tasks.

Frequently asked questions

Compare supplied facts with planning guidance.

Are STK LABS laboratory benches fixed height?

No. The catalog separates three adjustment methods: 6" leg-cap adjustment, 12" hand-crank manual lift and 12" electric lift.

Which sizes are available in the Workbench #1 and Workbench #2 families?

The supplied product information lists 48, 60, 72 and 96" widths with 30 or 36" depths for these families.

How does capacity change by adjustment method?

For the Workbench #1 and #2 models shown here, supplied information lists capacities up to 2,500 lb for leg-cap versions and up to 1,500 lb for manual- and electric-lift versions.

When does electric adjustment make sense?

Electric lift is the clearest starting point when operators or tasks require frequent height changes. Leg-cap and hand-crank versions remain available when adjustment is less frequent.
